He was predeceased by: his parents, John Harness and Mary Haggard Harness; his wife Alice Riggs; his daughter Tracy L. Harness Stevenson; his son-in-law Todd LaBounty; his brother Ray Harness; and his grandson Thaddeus Parrott.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marcia Pratt (Larry) of Lester, Alabama and Sally LaBounty of Lawrenceville; his son-in-law Keith Stevenson (Carolynn) of Vincennes, Indiana; his siblings, Dale Harness of St. Pete, Larry Harness (Mary) of Allendale, Gary Harness (Rita) of Mt. Carmel and Jim Harness (Linda) of Newburgh, Indiana; his grandchildren, Tyler Parrott (Jessica), Anna Kim (Robert), Jesse LaBounty, Erin Neer and Cheryl Connelley (Phil); and his great grandchildren, Mason Parrott (Madi), Alice Parrott, Smith Parrott, Lucy Kim, Grace Kim, Alaina Connelley and Derek Connelley.
