Emily D. Howard Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emily D. Howard of Lawrenceville, Illinois, who passed away on March 21, 2026 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William C. Harper and Stella M. Harper (Wheeler); her husband John T. Howard; her daughter Pearl May Howard; her grandson Daniel Banks; and her sister Judith Schall.

She is survived by: her children, Anita Banks (Robert) of Evansville, Dana Howard Elder (Kelley) of Evansville and Rebecca Arnold (Charles) of Lawrenceville, Illinois; her sister Evalene Savage of Mt. Vernon, Indiana; her brother-in-law Norman Schall of Melvin, Illinois; her grandchildren, Ruth Devine (Josh), Audrey Hatfield (Chris), Loren Crask (Michael), Eden Daugherty, Kyle Laslie, Abigail Worley (Benson) and Julia Bauer (Matthew Kopie); her granddaughter-in-law Cheri Banks; her great grandchildren, Nicholas Banks, Matthew Banks, Alexis Banks, Jaxson Banks, Phoenix Divine, Zoe Hatfield, Paige Daugherty, John Daugherty, Benson Worley V, Amelia Crask and JB Crask; and her great great grandchild Carter Lee.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bridgeport Free Methodist Church, Tunnel to Towers Foundation or St Judes Children Hospital.
