She was predeceased by: her father Chester C. "Junior" Smith, Jr.. She is survived by: her mother Ellen Smith (Akers) of Lawrenceville; her daughter Heidi Meeks (Chris) of Lawrenceville; her sister Debbie Anderson of Mt. Vernon, Indiana; and her grandson Jake Meeks.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home (1303 12th St, Lawrenceville, IL 62439). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to the Lawrence County Humane Society or the Lawrence County Cancer Resource Center & Wig Shoppe.
