We announce the death of David Arthur Battaglini (Leaf River, Illinois), who passed away on July 14, 2026, at the age of 42. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Battaglini; and his grandparent Grandpa Crockett (Grandma Crockett). He is survived by: his mother Barbara Battaglini (Crockett); his wife Molly Battaglini; his sons, Griffin and Wes; his sister Sara Gerard (Battaglini); his nephew William; his parents-in-law, Allen and Teri Ulferts; his uncle Balsley; and his pet Mabel. He is also survived by "cousins", very good friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at the The Barn (7 IL-72, Leaf River, IL 61047).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to District 75 STEAM Foundation.
