She was predeceased by : her parents, Herbert Bowles and Jimmie Bowles; and her brother James Willis Bowles. She is survived by : her husband Elzie Shirley of Lebanon, IL; and her daughters, Teva Steeno (Randy) of Glen Carbon, IL and Venita Shirley of Boston, MA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
