She was predeceased by: her parents, James Davis and Viola Davis; and her siblings, James Roy, Leon Houston, Lorraine Henry, Silas, Charles Bernard, Lovey Ruth Verdon and Frank Reed.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Douglas, Vincent III, Erroll, Erin, Veronica, Darrell Jr., Traci and Victor; her children, John Bridgeford, Wannetta Lynn Turner (Paul Turner), Edwin Douglas Joyner and Darrell Wayne Joyner (Maria Joyner); and her sister Grace Marie Phipps. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; grandnieces and grandnephews; cousins; friends; and honorary grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the North S. D. A Church.
