With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Teresa A. Behnen of Lebanon, Illinois, born in East Saint Louis, Illinois, who passed away on July 3, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald and Blanch; and her sister Kathy Helms. She is survived by: her husband William Behnen; her children, Joe Braunagel (Elaine) of O'Fallon, IL, Mike Braunagel (Jennifer) of Granite City, IL and Cindy Shields (Jason) of Waterloo, IL; her grandchildren, Jared Braunagel, Zachary Braunagel, Daniel Braunagel, Joseph Braunagel, Taylor Wood, Madison Braunagel, Brittany Gossett, Joseph Elmore, Tanner Contratto and Adison Shields; her stepdaughters, Shelley Gavin and Brandy Willis (David); her stepgrandchildren, Cole Gavin, Bailey Wills and Devin Wills; her sisters, Debra Bevineau and Pam Schoenherr (Dennis); and her sister-in-law Diane Sellers. She is also survived by many loving great grandchildren.
