Carl G. Kiest Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carl G. Kiest of Leland, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 7, 2025 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carl G. Kiest to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Blaine Benjamin and Dorothy Marie Kiest (Jordan); his wives, Mary and Linda; and his siblings, Louise Primmer and Warren (Blaine Kiest).
He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Humphrey (Ron); his stepchildren, Andrea Niles, Rebecca Bonneau (Tim) and Troy Jacobson; his son-in-law Brian Niles; his siblings, Delmar Kiest (Robbie) and Vicki Pfortmiller (Mike); and his sister-in-law Janice Kiest. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Turner-Eighner Funeral Home - Somonauk (13160 US-34 W, Somonauk, IL 60552). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
