He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hartshorn and Bertha Hartshorn (Heiman); and his siblings, George, Dale Hartshorn, Mary Barnett, Dorothy Polancic and Helen Tress.
He is survived by: his wife Dee (Wells); his daughters, Lisa Fink (Dave) of Huntley, IL and Amy Colussy of Cranberry Twp; his stepson Tim Ludwig (Leslie) of Millbrook, IL.; his grandchildren, Sophia "Bean", Natalie "Peanut", Lukas "Max" and Kamila "Pickle"; his sister Judie McConville of Ottawa; his mother-in-law Martha Bianco of Leland; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Wells of Cocoa, FL.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gladfelter-Roetker Funeral Home (1601 E Norris Dr, Ottawa, IL 61350). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
