He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Clifford and Pauline Clifford (Antonetti); and his siblings, John Clifford, James Clifford, Patricia Walsh, Harriet Clifford, Ann Rose King and Michael Clifford.

He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Bailey, Frank Clifford, Paula Herrman and Karen Dennis; and his brother Dennis Clifford (Sue). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
