David A. Wallis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David A. Wallis of Lemont, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 23, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Gregory Wallis; his parents, Eugina Ervin and John Wallis Jr.; and his brothers, John (Jackie) and Richard.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Wallis (Karen) and Catherine Benes (Rob); and his grandchildren, Amanda Wallis, Amy Surface (Stephen), Jeffrey Wallis, Jr., Ava Benes, Ellen Benes and Charlie Benes. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zarzycki Manor Chapels, Ltd. - Willow Springs (8999 Archer Ave, Willow Springs, IL 60480-1205). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Lithuanian National Cemetery (8201 S Kean Ave, Justice, IL 60458).
