We are sad to announce that on July 27, 2025, at the age of 91, Emilia S. Pilecki of Lemont, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Emilia's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Emilia's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may she find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her husband Leon; her sibling Mieczyslaw Figiel; and her parents, Katherine Figiel and Wladyslaw Figiel. She is survived by: her children, Risa Tormos (late Vincent) and Margaret Pilecki; and her grandchildren, Kathryn Tormos, Christopher Tormos and Mark Tormos (Annie).
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Cyril & Methodius Church (608 Sobieski St, Lemont, IL 60439). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Resurrection Cemetery (7200 Archer Rd, Justice, IL 60458).
