He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Bernard Heeg and Frances Heeg; his wife Joan of Lemont; his brother John (Linda Heeg) of Lemont; his daughters, Laura Landers (Budd Landers) of Morris Il and Lisa Heeg of Sarasota; his grandchildren, Dan Alvey (Christina Alvey), Liz Alvey (Brian Valentine), Zackary Landers (Sonia Zayas) and Clare Landers (Alec Hill); his great grandchildren, Josephine Alvey and Jaxson Hill; and his siblings-in-law, Edward Smollen (Charlene), Mike O'Brien and Clare Zezulka. He was also cherished by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
