Genevieve H. Carpenter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 23, 2025, at the age of 101, Genevieve H. Carpenter (Lemont, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Genevieve leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lowell Carpenter; and her son Patrick Carpenter. She is survived by: her children, Henry Carpenter (Rae), Mary Hodgkinson (Leroy) and Alida Carpenter (Robert Hausknecht); and her grandchildren, Matthew, Allison, Jason, Martin and Julianne.
