He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Sharon; his children, Carrie Zalga (Kevin), Zachary (Erica) and Matthew Markiewicz (Tessa); his grandchildren, Hannah Payne, Isabella Markiewicz, Benjamin Markiewicz, Kole, Ruby, Ethan Zalga and Liana Markiewicz; his parents, Chester Markiewicz and Wanette Hiltrop; and his brother Christopher Markiewicz.
