Janina Galica Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janina Galica of Lemont, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 17, 2026 at the age of 65. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Janina Galica to pay them a last tribute.
She is survived by: her mother Helena Smalec; her siblings, Ewa Sądelska (Jozef Sadelski), Jasiek Smalec (Zofia Smalec) and Józef Smalec (Maria Smalec); her children, Kasia Galica, Bernadette Plewa (Marcin Plewa) and Matthias Galica (Amy Fenstermacher); and her grandchildren, Melania Plewa, Michael Plewa, Max Plewa and Nicholas Plewa.
Even though Janina adored flowers, her last wish is that donations be made in her name to Misericordia (https://support.misericordia.com) in lieu of flowers.
