We announce the death of John E. Madsen of Lemont, Illinois, who passed away on August 13, 2026. John will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Niels Peter Madsen and Mary Wilhelmine Madsen (Voss) of Exira; his wife Sandra Rose Madsen (Zeno); and his sister-in-law Nancy Zeno. He is survived by: his children, Jill Kelly (John), Wendy Campbell (Kevin) and Jonathan Madsen (Deidre); his grandchildren, Erin Marcello (Jimmy), Nathan, Ryan Kelly, Ashley, Ellen, Brenna Campbell, Evan and Logan Madsen; his siblings-in-law, Tim, Ginger Marrocco and Jim; his nieces and nephews, Christina, Nicholas Marrocco, Matthew and Laura Zeno; his uncle August; and his aunt Martha.
