He was predeceased by : his wife Karen J.; his parents, Mary Johnson and Morris E. Johnson; his brother John T. Johnson (Edna); and his father-in-law Lloyd Hutton.

He is survived by : his siblings, Ronald E. (late Phyllis) and Fond; his mother-in-law Edna; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Mezewich and Marilyn Wright (Carl).
