He was predeceased by: his parents, Mathew Kaufman and Elizabeth Kaufman; his siblings, Elizabeth "Betty" Povalish (John) and Mathew "Bud" Kaufman (Patricia); and his grandson-in-law Brent Ludwig.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Kaufman; his children, Mona Parry (Bob), Rob Kaufman (Carol), Dave Kaufman (Therese) and Carole Ensminger (Scott); his grandchildren, Nathan Parry (Jeana), Dana West (William), Katie Renz (Dan), Sarah Lopez (Alex), Elizabeth Kummer (Benjamin), David II Kaufman (Stephanie), Andrew Kaufman, Aimee Arthur (Duane), Kevin Kaufman, Mary Rita Kaufman, Matt Ensminger and Noah Ensminger; and his great grandchildren, Andrew, Evelyn, Harrison, Kylee, Jayden, Sophia, Levi, Olivia and Emma. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Alphonsus/St. Patrick Church, Lemont, Illinois.
