He was predeceased by : his wife Jo Ann Grabo; his parents, Harry Grabo and Margaret Grabo; his grandson Dennis Shrupsha; and his great grandchild Maisey Lynn McElwee.

He is survived by : his daughters, Robin Marie McElwee (Scott) and LeeAnn Shrupsha (Kenneth); his grandchildren, Justin McElwee (Erica), Meghan Schultz (Jake), Carlie Shrupsha and Delaney Shrupsha; and his great grandchildren, Morgan, Easton, McKenzie Schultz and Madelyn Jo McElwee.
