He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Lingle and Eula Lingle (Baldwin); his wife Shirley Smith; and his sister Margaret Poole. He is survived by: his children, Karla Work (Wiley) of Edmond, OK, Kevin Lingle (Mary) of Monroe, WI, William Lingle (Pamela) of Canton, IL, Carl Lingle (Shelly) of Winslow, IL and Rob Lingle (Darla) of Bloomington, IL; and his siblings, Helen Head of Anna, IL and Bobby Lingle of Vienna, IL.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established in his memory for the Lena Lions Club.
