She was predeceased by: her parents, John Franklin Metcalf and Meta Metcalf (Peters); and her sister Marilyn Metcalf. She is survived by: her husband Lee B. Lockwood; her daughter Jennifer Allen (Nathan) of DeKalb; and her grandchildren, Cody and Heather Allen.
A memorial fund has been established for The Nature Conservancy.
