With solemn reverence, we commemorate Jean Breit of Lena, Illinois, whose life came to an end on September 28, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Onkels and Myrtle Onkels (Stein); her husband Cy; and her sister Donna Kessler. She is survived by: her daughter Faye Heilman (Craig) of Lena; her grandchildren, Ashley, Austin (Skylar) and Brock (Julia); her daughter Lynn Polhill (Kirk) of Lena; her grandchildren, Kyle, Kory (Ann) and Kaitlyn; her son Ken Breit (Christine) of San Marcos, TX; her grandchildren, Delaney Herman (Clint) and Kylie Breit; her great grandchildren, Emma, Parker, Kenedi Heilman, Layla, Lucy, Leo Heilman, Cora, Harper Polhill, Eleanor and Hudson Herman; her siblings, Glenn Onkels (Susan) and Mary Peterson (Bob); and her foster children, Laurie Overesch (Dan) of Appleton, WI and Michael Rabideau (Julie) of Green Bay, WI. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Leamon Funeral Home (210 W Main St, Lena, IL 61048). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

A memorial fund has been established.
