He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo McKinstrey and Sylvia McKinstrey (Trost); and his brother Don McKinstrey. He is survived by: his wife Joan McKinstrey of Machesney Park, IL; his children, Michele Vick (Ron) of Warren, IL and Michael McKinstrey of Lena, IL; his grandchildren, Kaden McKinstrey, Cody McKinstrey, Ryan Vick (Carrie) and Rachel Elaroussi (Otman); and his sister Shirley Hodgson (Bob) of Gratiot. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established in his memory.
