He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Spinhirne and Beulah Spinhirne (Brinkmeier); his in-laws, John and Evelyn Esmond; his sister-in-law Melodie Scheider; and his brothers, Robert and Douglas Spinhirne.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Esmond of John's Lutheran Church; his children, Greg Spinhirne (Dawn) of Lena, Anita Streckwald (Kip) of Lena and Susan Rupp (Brian) of Marion, IA; his grandchildren, Jordan, Drew Streckwald, John Spinhirne, Morgan and Ethan Rupp; and his sisters, Kay Hagie of Rockford, IL and Sharon Koch (Kenny) of Lena. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (625 Country Ln Dr, Lena, IL 61048). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
