He is survived by: his children, Renee Carmody (Richard) of Freeport, IL, Andrew Schlichting (Cindy) of Freeburg, IL and Lisa Loeffler of Brunswick, Maryland.; and his grandchildren, Aidan, Evan Schlichting, Mason, Harrison, Maggie and Mary Loeffler.
