He is survived by: his wife Sharon Burchfield of Lena; his children, Chris Gronberg (Scott Corey), Wendy Kremkoski, Greg Kremkoski (Linda) and Jenny Turner (Dewayne Amundson); and his siblings, Al Gronberg (Nancy), John Gronberg Jr., Linda Hough and Janet Sadewater (Vick). He is also survived by Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A memorial has been established in his memory.
