With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Zelma Mae McNeal of Lena, Illinois, who passed away on June 23, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Russell and Willie Russell (Carroll); and her siblings, Roseland Pope and Norman Russell. She is survived by: her children, Timon Jurgensen (Deetra Edgerton) of Lanark, IL, Celinda Thompson (Mike Ackerman) of Freeport, IL and Scott (Chasity McNeal); and her grandchildren, Tyler, Corbin, Braelynn, Scotti, Trevor and Jamison. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.

A memorial has been established in her memory for Boys Town Nebraska, 14100 Crawford St. Boys Town, Nebraska, 68010.
