He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Hurst and Dorothy Hurst (Bence); and his siblings, Jim and Paula. He is survived by: his son Joshua Hurst (Mindy); his grandchildren, Logan Miller, Makenzie Hurst and Hailey Hurst; and his siblings, Terry, Larry, Betty, Donna, Joyce and Pam.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Barkley Funeral Chapel (114 Courthouse Sq, Toledo, IL 62468).
Memorials can be made to the Willow Breeze Hospice House.
