He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Barnes and Esther Hoyt Barnes; his brothers, Joe Barnes, Raymond Barnes and Ricky Barnes; his nephew Josh Barnes; and his sister-in-law Cindy Barnes.
He is survived by: his children, J. J. Barnes (Brandy) and Danielle Barnes; his brother David Barnes (Trish); and his close friend Barb Jenkins. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren along with lots of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
