He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Parkinson and Mildred Parkinson (Owens); his wife Judith Ann Parkinson (Judy); his brother Charlie Parkinson; his half-brother Bob (Margaret Parkinson); his son-in-law Tim Decker; his granddaughter-in-law Krystal Myers (Jenkins); his siblings-in-law, George Hughes, Wendell Driskell, Larry and Linda McKinley; his parents-in-law, James and Berniece Gilkerson; and his pet Smokey.
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Decker of Greenbrier, AR, Brian Parkinson (Julie) of Wichita, KS and Derek Parkinson (Eileen) of Burlington, WI; his sisters, Hilda Driskell, Dorene McClausland (Vernon) and Doris Hughes; and his grandchildren, Stephine Myers, Ryan Myers (Cassie) and Genevieve "Evie" Parkinson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Hill Cemetery (1000 N Main St, Lewistown, IL 61542).
