He was predeceased by: his parents, William Leapley and Alice Lillian Leapley (DeWitt); his daughter Maria Leapley; his brother Eddie; and his sister-in-law Barb Leapley.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy E. Haistings; his daughters, Jane Tjaden (Jim), Rose Barry (Ronnie) and Mary Phillips (Roger); and his grandchildren, Janelle Payne (Jason), Jennifer McConnell, Jami Powell (Kyle), Jonas Tjaden, Matt Barry (Amanda), Marc Barry (Kendall), Rachelle Goodwin (Rob), Maria Fleer (Caleb), Michael Leapley (Megan), Kenny Phillips (Emma) and Renee Phillips. He is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; his sisters.
