Speed of Vernon Hills, IL; his children, Lauri Boulger (Gordon) of The Woodlands, TX and Craig Speed (Theresa) of Chicago, IL; his brother Lucius "Lou" Speed of New Jersey; and his grandchildren, Lauren Elizabeth Boulger of Houston, Brandon Gordon Boulger of The Woodlands and Paige Johnson Speed of Second Lieutenant, U. S.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations in Alan's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause he and Denise proudly supported.
