He was predeceased by: his parents, Langdon Phillips and Elisabeth Phillips; his wife Elizabeth Chisholm; his son Peter Gerard Phillips; his brother David Phillips; his brother-in-law Herbert Eames; and his sons-in-law, Don Henderson and Kerry Deardorff.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Ann Phillips (Gary Levine), Melissa Phillips and John Phillips (Michelle Bloomfield); his grandsons, Austin Deardorff (Tanya Marinovska) and Ethan Deardorff; his great grandchild Mila; his sister Pamela Eames; his sisters-in-law, Linda Phillips and Dorothy Cranton; and his daughter-in-law Denise Phillips. He is also survived by his wife and children.
