With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Cavanaugh of Libertyville, Illinois, born in Aurora, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 8, 2025 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hasmason and Mary Hasmason; and her sisters, Aurelia, Mary and Helen.
She is survived by: her husband John H. Cavanaugh; her children, John Cavanaugh (Laura), Robert Cavanaugh (Corinna) and Cheryl Turek (Mike); her grandchildren, Brandan, Celine, Bailey, Ian and Veronica; and her great grandchildren, Waylen and Wyatt.
