It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Clanin of Lima, Illinois, born in South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on January 20, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sylvester Clanin and Bernice Kathrynn Frakes; and his siblings, John, Russell "Bud", Tom Clanin and Ellen Friday.

He is survived by: his wife Christine Clanin of Lima; his children, Craig Clanin (Tamie) of Louisiana, Tim Clanin (Treva) of New London, Willy Brooks (Kim) of Ripley, Terry Stevenson (Mary) of Elvaston and Kay Brewer of Quincy; and his sister-in-law Debbie Frakes of Pleasant View. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
