With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Doris E. Oltmanns of Lincoln, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas E. Thompson and Eileen Wanda Harbert Thompson; and her siblings, Edward Thompson, Thomas Thompson and Joann Heidbreder.
She is survived by: her children, James Amberg Jr. (Rosalie), Cindi Kruse (Michael Hanson), Robert Amberg, Rod Amberg and Brandi Lantman; and her brother David Thompson (Sue). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Carroll Catholic School or the Salvation Army.
