He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernie James and Mabel James (Coffey); and his brothers, Jerry James and Larry James. He is survived by: his children, Robin Jackson and Terry James; his grandchildren, Spencer Harris, Madi Mittelsteadt, Arthur James, Hendrix James and Cassi Harris; his great grandchildren, Freya Mittelsteadt, Lux Harris and Tate Mittelsteadt; his sister Sheila O'Brien (Danny); his niece Jennifer Bailey; and his close friends, Carolyn James and Barb Guzouskis.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association and will be accepted at the funeral home.
