She was predeceased by: her father H. Vernon Heft; her husband William Darwin Westen; her brother Harold Heft; and her son-in-law Doug Ritterbush. She is survived by: her mother Evelyn Kurtz Heft; her daughters, Lisa Egizii (Mike) of Lincoln and Jodi Ritterbush of Lincoln; her grandchildren, Ali Mikels (Anthony) and Emma Ritterbush; her great grandchildren, Luca, Lia and Lainey; and her sister Cynthia Wilhite (Marvin).
