Coats of Lincoln, IL; his daughters, Kimberly Coats of Sarasota, FL and Amy Coats (Darrin Johnson) of Sarasota, FL; his stepdaughter Julie Bradford of Decatur, IL; his grandson Jack Johnson of Sarasota, FL; and his siblings, Irwin Coats (Elaine) of Arlington Heights, IL, Boyd Coats of Hideaway, TX and Gail Hamilton (George) of Peoria, IL..

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Humane Society of Decatur and Macon County.
