She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Margeson and Hazel Margeson (Daniels); her siblings, Myrtle Margeson, Lola Abbott, Marvin Margeson, Darriell Margeson and Dorothy Crull; her close friend Joe Houser; her grandsons, Eric Palmer and Kolton Taylor; and her great grandchild Bode Hammock.
She is survived by: her children, John (Tisha Palmer), Paul (Denette Palmer), Mark Palmer of Jerseyville, Kelly Hammock of Blytheville, David (Rod Palmer-Taylor) and Susan Grizzle of New Hebron; her grandchildren, Bobbi Jo, John Jr., Trent, Brandie Jo, Jeni, Jessica, Chrissi, Matthew, Chastity, Heather, Danielle, Jeremiah, Jason, Nicholas and Savanna; and her sisters, JoAnn Byland of Carrollton and Joan Brannan of Jacksonville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to a fund established to place a permanent headstone at Maggie's gravesite.
