It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marietta Eilene Buro of Lincoln, Illinois, who passed away on May 29, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Grant and Dorothy Grant (Simmons); her husband Arthur Buro; and her siblings, Virgil Grant, Rajean Ragland, Eunice Davis and Elladee Bradley.
She is survived by: her children, Velda Ann Baker (Dean) of Lincoln, IL and Earl Wayne Buro (Marla) of Marietta, GA; her grandchildren, Grant Buro (Rebecca) and Dyanna Motes (Justin); her great grandchildren, Jackson, Colton Buro and Mackinsey Motes; her stepgrandchildren, Deanna Peterson (Gabriel), Eric Baker (Sara), Ryan Baker (Katana) and Monica Smith (Robert); and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Elise Howell, Andrew Baker, Jacob Baker, Megan Baker, Isaac Baker, Emma Baker, Mara Baker and Aidan Baker.
