He is survived by: his children, Doug Moriearty (Kandy) and Shelly Scheurer (Paul); his grandchildren, Jess Benedict (Dan), Ryan Moriearty (Lauren), Nate Brandt (Morgan) and Nolan Moriearty; his great grandchildren, Adi, Ella and Brinley; and his pet Penny.
