Orvil E. Shaffer Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Orvil E. Shaffer of Lincoln, Illinois, who passed away on October 1, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Shaffer and Mary (Collins); his spouse Shirley Jean Behrends; and his brothers, Earl Shaffer and Glenn Shaffer.

He is survived by : his daughters, Sharol Murphy and Karen Rice (Randy); his grandchildren, Shaney Shaffer, Leah Irvin, Daniel Irvin (Catie), David Irvin (Tiffany) and Laura Bloemker (Chad); his great grandchildren, Alex, Kennedy, Stella, Levi, Lilly, Layla and Lincoln; and his nephew Ronald Dean Shaffer (Barb). He is also survived by several extended family members and friends.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Legion Post 263 or to Prairieland Christian Church.
