He is survived by: his wife Carlene Owens; his children, Debbie Ayappa (Paul) of Lincoln, Jody Van Bibber (Les) of Mackinaw and Steve Owens (Debbie) of Lincoln; his grandchildren, Josh Long (Christina), Sarah Van Bibber-Jones, Amber Leipold (Tyler), Jared Owens (Mandy), Zach Ayappa (Annie), Jordan Owens, Katie Embery (Ira) and Josalyn Owens; his great grandchildren, Tyler Long, Makenzie Van Bibber, Zachary Long, Jacob Long, Alyssa Long, Hayden Leipold, Landon Leipold, Hudson Ayappa and Henley Ayappa; his siblings, Benny Owens (Jerry), Wendell Owens, Jerry Owens (Sandy), David Owens (June) and Carol Phelps; and his brother-in-law Chuck Stepp (Bobbie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
Memorials honoring Rev. Owens may be made to Full Gospel Evangelistic Center, the place he loved with every fiber of his being.
