She is survived by: her children, Doug Van Deventer (Christal) and Julie Buckles; her grandchildren, Jori Gallagher (Tasha Jones), Jaci Buckles (Kayne Buck), Ian Van Deventer (Candra Higginbotham) and Atlee Van Deventer; her great grandchildren, Madilyn Brown, Brantley Smith, Reece Buck, Brinley Buck, Tiabeanie Van Deventer, Zachary Jones and Alexandria Edwards; her pet Retta; and her brother John Farthing.
