He is survived by: his mother Beverly Phillips (Harris); his children, Dylan Benedict and Kaylie Benedict (Morgan); his siblings, Tina Benedict-Guzman (Larry), Dawn Phillips-Osborn (Jason), Barb Ferguson and Beverly Geriets (Jody); his grandson Stetson; his close friend Waylon Turner; his nieces, Sara Baker and Destiny Hart; his nephew Mason Baker; and his caregiver Emilee Frakes. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
