He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Springer and Emma Springer (Kauffmann); and his siblings, Verna, Ethel, Paul, Carrol, Mahlon, Orval, Elmo, Kay and Marvin.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Springer (Litwiller); his children, Andrea Springer (Steve Snook), Phillip Springer (Cheryl), Douglas Springer (Cindy) and Amy Hartsell (Kelly); his grandchildren, Emily Shearer (Michael), Erin Springer (Taylor Long), Wesley Springer (Katelyn), Grace Springer (Jonny Funk), Katherine Springer, Samuel Springer and Ben Snook; his sisters-in-law, Louise Springer, Joann Baugher and Deborah Beyhl; and his great grandchildren, Charlie, Julia, Isabella, Henry Noble, Henry Alan, Callum and Norah.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hopedale Mennonite Church (5192 Hopedale Rd, Hopedale, IL 61747). A memorial service was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
