He was predeceased by : his wife Dorothy; and his daughter Janet Pickering. He is survived by : his children, Karen Holway (Jeff), Linda Cox, Bob Szyman (Mary), Judy Piontowski (Joe) and Jim Szyman (Brian Kosek); his grandchildren, Jenn, Bill, Bryan, Scott, Jessica, Ryan, John, Andrew, Ian, Allison, Grace and Tim; and his great grandchildren, Maren, Brooks, Serene and Hazel.
