He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Nick Janakas (Cathy), Toula and Scott Freberg; his grandchildren, Kristen Fiene (Matt), Salena and Cachet Retsos; his great grandchild Mason Fiene; his brothers, Fotis and Kostantinos Giannakakis; his wife Kasiane; and his siblings, Garifalia Katsiavelos, Stavroula Kougas, Vasillios Giannakakis and Panagiotis Gianakas.
